Linda Casazza, Pearl River Resident, 76

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Linda Casazza, a Pearl River resident for 53 years, died Saturday, June 25. She was 76.

She was born in Brooklyn on Oct. 25, 1939, to Francis and Dorothy Barber. She was a payroll manager for PAR Pharmaceutical in Chestnut Ridge, retiring in 2005. She was an active member of the Red Hats and the Blauvelt Senior Group. She enjoyed traveling the world and seeing the countryside.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Suzanne), Laura (Edward) Neroda, Diane Casazza, Richard (Ann Marie) and Dorothy (Joseph) Fears; grandchildren, Emily, Katherine, Jennifer, Gabrielle, Kristyn, Matthew, Scotty, Katie, Tyler, Cole, Kamryn, Tara, Victoria and Julia; brothers, Frank Barber, Gary Barber; sister, Deborah O' Brien; and stepbrother, Frank Kelleher.

Her husband, Raymond, died in 2006.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, from 4-9 p.m. at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home, 34 N. Summit St., Pearl River. The funeral Mass will will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Aedan's Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at the Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont.
